Call-on Congress

It’s time we #PrioritizeCRC! By 2030, colorectal cancer is projected to become the leading cause of cancer-related deaths for people under age 50.

The Call-on Congress event brings together colon and rectal cancer survivors, caregivers, and supporters from across the U.S. to raise their voices in Washington, D.C. We urgently call on policymakers to act, as lives are at stake today. What used to be sufficient is no longer adequate.

The 2024 Call-on Congress marked a historic milestone as the largest gathering to date, with 232 participants, including 133 new attendees. A total of 183 meetings were held with members of Congress, representing 38 states. Furthermore, close to 50 partner organizations joined forces to amplify our message and demand action from policymakers.

Take Action

There is still time to take action from anywhere! It’s time to #PrioritizeCRC because time is running out. Recent data from the American Cancer Society reveals that colorectal cancer is now the top cancer killer for men under 50 and the second for women under 50, following breast cancer. We won’t rest until our voices are heard and policies for colorectal cancer are prioritized!
